LAHORE:

The PTI will discuss its strategy for local government elections at its Punjab chapter convention in Islamabad on June 30, party officials said. PTI chief Imran Khan will chair the convention.

The party’s Punjab chapter has prepared a report on the recent general elections highlighting its weaknesses and making recommendations for the selection of candidates and campaign strategy for local polls, said PTI Punjab President Ejaz Chaudhry. The report was compiled after meetings with district and regional party officials, he said.

According to the 10-point report, the PTI Punjab chapter felt that the party’s losses at several national and provincial seats were a result of ‘massive rigging’, inexperienced candidates, and, intriguingly, Imran Khan’s fall from a forklift just days before the polls. It also observed that the holding of party elections just before the general polls left little time to interview candidates and for ticket-holders to launch their campaigns.

@ibrahim:

And what Public Office is Imran Khan holding in KPK by virtue of which he is entitled to "Introducing those laws in KPK which will be followed by other countries." Imran Khan talks about empowerment but yet he is unconstitutionally running the state of affairs in KPK via remote control. Nonsense!
