ISLAMABAD:

Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs & Gilgit-Baltistan Berjees Tahir on Monday said that the Nanga Parbat incident, in which 11 tourists lost their lives, was an attack against Pakistan’s national interests.

This incident is an attempt to sabotage our relations with friendly countries and such unfortunate episodes would not be tolerated, the minister said. Berjees Tahir said that Pakistan had very good relationship with all the countries, especially China. He said the ongoing mega projects like widening of Karakoram Highway and construction of proposed rail road from G-B to Gwader Port were vital to enhance bilateral trade and corporation with China.
