Enhancing capabilities: PTCL holds leadership conference

ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited held the concluding session of its leadership conference ‘Broadening Learning Horizons’, which is a continuation of the company’s Leadership Excellence Programme, kicked off early this month, says a press release. Designed to enhance leadership capabilities of PTCL’s senior management, the event brought together business leaders and industry experts from both private and public sectors, who shared their experiences and leadership ideologies with the audience. Walid Irshaid, President and CEO of PTCL, was also present on the occasion. Dr Ishrat Husain, former State Bank of Pakistan governor and currently Dean and Director of the IBA, highlighted the significance of customer services as the determinant of success in any business. The interaction allowed PTCL leaders to gain insights into successful leadership styles of business icons and led to discussions about business solutions critical for transforming the organisation and creating sustainability.
