ISLAMABAD:

Chief Executive Officer of Rayyan Air Capt Fateh Sher Bhatti visited the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and revealed that Rayyan Air is about to commence direct flights between Islamabad and Kashgar in China to facilitate businessmen and people of both countries to exchange visits and explore new areas of mutual cooperation.

This comes after China’s plans to extend rail links from Kashgar to Gwadar to increase trade through Gwadar port.

Bhatti said the first flight from Islamabad to Kashgar will take off on June 26, 2013. He said Kashgar is emerging as one of the largest Special Economic Zones in the world and a direct air service between Pakistan and Kashgar would open many new avenues of trade, exports, investment and joint ventures between the two countries.
