Policing against criminals: Kidnapped man rescued

Rangers officers claimed that they rescued the abducted man from Lyari and arrested the four alleged kidnappers.

A young man allegedly kidnapped by Lyari gangsters was recovered safely while alleged kidnappers were arrested on Friday.


He was kidnapped from Mauripur road 20 days back while he was passing by and he was detained in a hideout in Singu Lane area of Lyari. The abducted man had arrived in Pakistan only a few months ago.

The Rangers officers claimed that they rescued the abducted man from Lyari and arrested the four alleged kidnappers associated with a banned outfit. They said that the raid was conducted on a tip-off, adding that the kidnappers have confessed to killing some people.

Officials also claimed that they recovered some weapons including machine guns, repeaters, pistols, bullet-proof jackets and large quantity of ammunition.
