Opposition leader: ‘PPP to strengthen democratic values’

Khursheed Shah said that the PPP wanted to strengthen the values of democracy.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party leader Khursheed Shah on Tuesday said that Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly was the right of the PPP as it enjoyed the support of 54 members.

Talking to media persons at the premise of the Parliament House after filing nomination papers of Makhdoom Amin Fahim for the slot of Prime Minister, Khursheed Shah said that the PPP wanted to strengthen the values of democracy and while keeping in view the democratic character, the PPP has decided to nominate Amin Fahim for the position of prime minister.
