ANP workers took away ballot boxes from PS-96 Karachi: Polling officer

Reports suggest another party's workers also took over polling stations in the constituency, held officials hostage.

KARACHI: A polling officer at PS-96, NA-242 constituency in Karachi claimed that some workers of the Awami National Party (ANP) took away ballot boxes and stamps from the Government Boys Primary School polling station.

According to some reports, workers of another political party also took over polling stations set up in Tulip School, Jadid School and Helican Public School of the constituency. Sources say they removed the polling agents of all political parties and took the polling staff hostage.

It is strange that you name ANP but don't mention the name of other political party. Their candidates should be barred and the re-election should take place regardless which party did the cheating or arm twisting, and by the way where is the security officers manning the polling stations.
