The bodies of three Frontier Corps (FC) officials, kidnapped by unidentified militants, were found in the Datta Khel tehsil of North Waziristan Agency on Monday.

An official of the security forces said that the militants dumped the bullet-riddled bodies of the Frontier Corps personnel by a roadside in the Adam Kot area of the tehsil.

The officials had been kidnapped from the Wacha Bibi check-post on April 27, after which security forces launched search operations.

The bodies were shifted to the victims’ hometowns in helicopters for burial.

In a similar incident on December 7, 2012, the bullet riddled bodies of two Frontier Corps officials, who were allegedly kidnapped by unidentified militants in the Ghulam Khan tehsil of the agency, were also recovered after being dumped by the roadside.
