LAHORE:

City Traffic Officer (CTO) Sohail Chaudhry has urged residents with old Lahore licences to get the new computerised licences as soon as possible or face penalties from wardens.

Chaudhry said that citizens should take their old licences, along with two pictures and their identity card, to the Kutchery office between 8am and 4pm. There, they could submit their documents and get the new licences at a single window in minutes, he said.

There are separate counters for senior citizens and women. He said that traffic police were conducting a campaign against unlicensed drivers.

Licence forms are available at the traffic police website. Citizens may also call the traffic police helpline at 0421915 for further information.
