Political Setback: PPP stalwarts join PML-N

Former Federal Minister Raja Shahid Zafar along with other three heavyweights joined PML-N.

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Peoples Party-Parliamentarian (PPPP) suffered another setback in the city as diehard veteran politician and former Federal Minister Raja Shahid Zafar along with other three heavyweights joined PML-N after meeting with Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.

The other three leaders include PPP candidates for PP-9 Syed Jaffar Hussain Shah, the younger brother of Syed Zakir Hussain Shah, Chaudhry Masood Advocate and Chaudhry Waris.

However, N-league will formally announce the joining of Raja Shahid Zafar, who once was very near and dear to PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, at a public gathering scheduled to be held in Murree on April 28, 2013.
