LAHORE: A writ petition seeking to restrain Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Hamza Shahbaz from contesting the election was submitted in the Lahore High Court on Wednesday. Sohail Malik, a citizen, filed the petition stating that Shahbaz was not an honest and righteous man as he had concealed his marriage with Ayesha Ahad Malik. The petitioner also accused Shahbaz of not disclosing his assets. He said the objections were raised before the returning officer and an appeal was also filed before an election tribunal but both had been dismissed.
