Football: Comsats through to semis

Comsats will be joined by BNU, which earned a walkover against the GCU.

KARACHI: Defending champions Comsats defeated University of Management and Technology 3-0 to qualify for the semi-finals of the fifth Dr Charles W Forman Inter-varsity Football Championship in Lahore. On the opening day, CFE defeated FC College 2-1, while USA Intermediate College Lahore earned a walkover against King Edward Medical College. Comsats will be joined by Beaconhouse National University (BNU), which earned a walkover against the Government College University (GCU). The tournament is featuring eight teams. FC College will play USA Intermediate College Lahore, while Comsats will face BNU today’s semi-final.
