Details of election matters being dealt by the election tribunals of the Lahore High Court would be available at the LHC website the same day, said a statement issued by the LHC spokesperson on Monday.


He said Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial has constituted five election appellate tribunals  two at the principal seat in Lahore and one each in Rawalpindi, Multan and Bahawalpur.

Appeals on election matters in Lahore, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Hafizabad, Gujrat, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Kasur and Okara divisions can be filed in Lahore. Justices Nasir Saeed Sheikh and Shahid Waheed, Khawaja Imtiaz Ahmad and Khalid Mahmood Khan will hear them.

The tribunal consisting of Justice Rauf Ahmad Sheikh and Justice Mamoonur Rasheed will hear appeals from Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Appeals in Multan and Bahawalpur divisions will be heard by tribunals comprising Justice Ijaz Ahmad and Justice Ameer Ahmad Bhatti and Justice Ameenuddin Khan and Justice Ibadur Rehman Lodhi, respectively.
