KARACHI: The US consul-general in Karachi, Michael Dodman, met caretaker chief minister (CM), Justice (Retd) Zahid Kurban Alvi, at CM House on Monday.

The caretaker CM told Dodman that there was much need for development in infrastructure in Sindh. Dodman informed the caretaker chief minister that the American government had plans to construct a modern hospital and a water sanitation plant in Jacobabad to provide services to the residents. Alvi stressed on the importance of improving facilities in cultural centres, such as the Pak-American Cultural Centre so that people can benefit.
