SUKKUR: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is our leader whether he lives in Pakistan or abroad. This emphatic statement was made by former federal minister Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah to dispel the rumour that Bilawal left the country because of some rift with his father.
He was speaking to the media while filing nomination papers for NA-199 Sukkur and PS-4 Sukkur in the district and sessions court, Sukkur, on Thursday.
“Security concerns forced us to send him abroad,” he said, adding that the party had changed the rules so that the representative of the candidate could file nomination papers in his place.
Shah alleged that the Punjab government had failed to do anything substantial for its people after 2010, even though it had received Rs400 billion more than the amount allotted to it in the budget. “It has wasted money by distributing free laptops and launching sasti roti [cheap bread] schemes,” he added. On the contrary, he felt that the Sindh government had spent the surplus money allotted to it wisely by “launching mega projects like Thar Coal”.
He also asked Pakistan Muslim League leader-Nawaz, Nawaz Sharif, to announce publicly that the “Pak-Iran gas pipeline project and the Gwadar port project will not be scrapped so as to motivate people to vote for him.” Shah felt that the politicians who oppose these projects do not have the people’s interests at heart.
He also alleged that “there was no future for Pervez Musharraf in Pakistan” while responding to a question.

Why exactly is he your leader? PPP acts like a monarchy, and its workers like common subjects who'll take whatever their lords decide is good for them.
Such a slave mentality.
Political parties should start to reform themselves under the teaching of Quid e azam & Quid e awaam.
