Hockey: Bajwa, Zaman named in FIH panels

KARACHI: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Secretary Asif Bajwa and former Olympian Tahir Zaman have been inducted in the International Hockey Federation’s (FIH) committees to serve for the 2013-14 term.

Bajwa has been selected as a member of the FIH Competitions committee that will be chaired by Ken Read of Australia.

Hockey India’s Secretary Narinder Batra was also included in the body as member.

Meanwhile, Zaman will be a part of the FIH’s High Performance and Coaching panel headed by Steve Jaspan of South Africa.
