The ministers also decided to dissolve the provincial and national assemblies at the same time.
The consensus was reached after the chief ministers met with Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf in Islamabad.
Holding a one-on-one meeting with the premier, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif requested Ashraf to replace governors, inspector generals of police and chief secretaries of Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa provinces.
The prime minister earlier met the four chief ministers and governor Balochistan to decide on a date to dissolve the assemblies and to discuss names for the post of caretaker chief ministers.
During the meeting, the premier talked to all chief ministers to form consensus over holding national and provincial assembly elections on the same day.

@Kaleem....I think you are confusing my comment with a very daily routine comment of every politician of Pakistan claiming to be the Representative of 18 kadood Pakistanis..but don't take my comment in that sense..as no one can get 100 percent of people or youth on there side...but just look at the likes of my comments and yours..you will understand where the youth stands...
@Kaleem: Ok , fine, no one is tagging you . We will do what ever we want , if you dont want to vote pti its your own choice :)
@ET:
Please check the grammatical mistake on the home page about this news. It should be Chief Ministers agree (not Chief Minister agree).
@saeed: I am in youth and I am NOT voter of PTI, like many others. Please don't tag 9 million youth according to your wishes.
Chief Ministers agree or Chief Minister agrees?
@Mohammad Ali Siddiqui:
Overseas voting is not practical and is a pipe dream.
Elections will be held when all overseas voters will be registered by the ECP, so that they should cast their votes and elect their choice of candidates in National and Provincial Assemblies of Pakistan.
They all met to discuss how to hold on to the status coo they represent..there is one party challenging all of them and that is PTI...lets see how things will go after 23rd march..change vs status co..junoon versus money..youth versus corrupt..
Why assemblies will be dissolved on 19th ? Anything fishy in next 2 day? Tactic to delay Elections??
isn't it too late?
