“Musharraf should be put into jail immediately as he lands in Pakistan. We [lawmakers] want implementation on the resolution unanimously passed by this house,” the senator said.
Speaking on floor of the house, Senator Rabbani said as Musharraf makes his decision to return to Pakistan, the government should act against him on holding the Constitution in abeyance twice.
The Senate had unanimously adopted a resolution on January 23, 2012 demanding the arrest of the former president upon his arrival, he recalled.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik spoke before the Senate: “I assure this house that if he lands in Pakistan, he will be arrested because he is a proclaimed offender in the Benazir Bhutto murder case.”
Musharraf will return home on March 24 after nearly four years of self-imposed exile in Dubai, his press aide said on Tuesday, in time to take part in a parliamentary election.

It is very easy to check what was his pay. Every penny he earned was accounted for. Imran did not in Pakistan for even a day. His income is also easy to reckon. State Bank would posses records of how money travelled in both directions. . Regarding other political figures finding out their source of income, number of banks they used in different countries etc etc, even Scotland Yard would not be caught investigating their cases.

For the foolproof security a certain Mr Malik was provided by PPP itself, who instead supervising the event slipped away from scene of the crime. . The surgeon from PIMS who examined the victim stated that he did not see any bullet or bullet whole in the neck, quietly vanished, left the country to find asylum in Canada. No one asked him the reason for abruptly abandoning his home country, where he had a well-paid job at a very respectable institute. Why was he not asked to submit any statement to help those very expensively hired spooks or be a part of the enquiry in someway?
All of PPP SHOULD be held for corruption and treason, stupid Pakistanis don't understand them they protest for chief of justice and burn the whole country, but they don't protest against ppp. A lost flock of sheep's only to be guided by a military style ruler or like China.
According to Article 6 of the Constitution, Senator Rabbani is correct that former General Musharraf should be arrested and tried for treason for contravening the Constitution. But, the good Senator has been a member of the Senate while his own party violates the Constitution fairly consistently. A good example of not following the terms of the Constitution is that the President cannot be the head of a political party and cannot participate in political affairs of the country. Principled and conscientious political figures in Pakistan weaken their stance and leave a bad example by remaining in and supporting parties who do not have the interest of the people in their priorities.
He should be given the same reception as was given to nawaz Sherief.

Criminals are ruling the country and nobody removes them. I doubt anybody would dare to arrest a respectable Chief of Army and former President of Pakistan. He has not done anything that I can say he ruined the country. The people who are ruining the country is rulling the country called themselves elected on fake votes. Musharraf is a patriot Pakistani and he did best for the country. In the hindsight some of the decisions may not be correct but you cant say he did treason. What about those people who abuse Kiyani just because he did not take over of the present failed state. Musharraf came to the power in the same situation. As time goes by Army take over will be eliminated. If our politicians did their job well Musharraf may not have to take over.
