ISLAMABAD:

The couple that allegedly raped and killed an 11-year-old girl in Bhara Kahu confessed to killing the daughter of Crime Investigation Department Superintendent of Police Hakim Khan Niazi.

An official of the Bhara Kahu police told The Express Tribune that the accused, Maha* and Qamar* confessed during interrogation to the murder of the SP’s daughter, whose name could not be ascertained.

The body of the police officer’s daughter was found last November in a room where Mehak and the deceased girl had spent the night.

“The SP had gone for Hajj at the time, while his wife was in Karachi. The 22-year-old daughter of the SP went with Maha and spent night with her.”

In the morning, her dead body was recovered from the room. A murder case was registered against Maha at the time and she was under observation.

“We were investigating the matter when Sehr* was kidnapped and later found dead,” the police official said.

Sehr had been reported kidnapped by her family when her body was recovered from a drain in Sector I-9. Her body had been burnt by the killers to destroy evidence.

this is plain brutality .. why would you print the name of SP as well ? and saying name of girl wasnt ascertained ... thanksfully it wasnt ... just be careful with what you are reporting and things are serious in such matters ... you want to print names of victims yet names of culprits are changed .. let them be what they are
