India TV broadcasts photo of deceased member of Sindh Assembly Manzar Imam for suspect in Hyderabad blasts.
India TV on Sunday used an image of the late MPA Manzar Imam for an alleged suspect involved in the recent blasts in Hyderabad.
"I demand from India a formal apology. It has brought ill-repute to Pakistan. Provide us the proof for making such serious allegations," he said while talking to media after a consultative meeting of the Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) in Islamabad.
He urged India to verify before making comments. He said that late Manzar Imam had a positive record and was a gentleman.
The Indian news channel was referring to a member of the Indian Mujahideen (IM), however, used Imam’s photo. The IM member was allegedly the “mastermind” behind the bombings.

I am afraid Rehman Malik is right this time.
Rehman malik is a fool if he thinks that Indian Government controls a privately owned TV station but then again this man is not known for his intelligence as witnessed by the statements he makes. Instead of giving statements as reported above he as the Interior minister should investigate how Indian citizens the Bhatkal brothers were issued Pakistani passports and who gave them these passports. He always says that Pakistan wants to normalize relations with India then the first step will be to take away Pakistani passports from these murderers namely the Bhatkal brothers.
One day Indian terrorist will take over India as Indian media always blame Pak to hide their own terrorist.
I never agreed with RM but now I have to agree with him. . Indian incompetent intelligence agencies have make fun of themselves before too by giving pictures of 5 Pakistani businessmen as hiding in India when they were busy doing their routine in Lahore and had never been to India. . RAW should send their people for training to some country with respectable record
I am taking off my picture from the Facebook, as one never knows that tomorrow my picture may appear on Indian media and leveled same sort of allegations.

It could be..but it just goes to show the anxiousness that Indian media (big media houses) have when it comes to blaming Pakistan. It seems like that they enjoy Pakistan's misery

Absolutely right. Not only Manzar Imam was a good person but tragically lost his lives fighting the talibans. Malik is absolutely right. Whoever made the mistake should apologize.
Why should the Govt of India apologize for the error of a private news channel?
