Education cooperation: AIOU, British varsity sign MoU

Both institutions will share their expertise in joint research and teaching activities.

ISLAMABAD:


Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) and Salford University, UK have reached a formal agreement for promoting and expanding quality education at various academic levels.


The agreement is aimed at extending existing effective and mutually beneficial cooperation and developing academic, research and cultural exchanges.

A formal agreement was signed by AIOU  Vice Chancellor Dr Nazir Ahmed Sangi and Salford University Vice-Chancellor Prof Martin Hall at Salford University.

According to the MoU, both universities will encourage direct contact and co-operation between their faculties and administration within fields that are mutually acceptable.

Both institutions will share their expertise in joint research and teaching activities and the development of new degree and training programmes.
