PESHAWAR: A protest was held outside the Peshawar Press Club (PPC) by the Khyber Union of Journalists (KhUJ) to condemn the death of media personnel in the Quetta blast on Thursday.

Senior journalists and representatives of the civil society chanted slogans condemning the incident that claimed more than 100 lives. During the demonstrations, participants demanded security of journalists who fulfil their responsibilities, considering the numerous attacks on media persons in the past few years.
