Boxing: I will ruin Khan’s career, says Molina

Carlos Molina said that he would ruin Amir Khan’s reputation in the sport by condemning the former light-welterweight world champion to a third successive defeat, according to ESPN.

Molina is confident he can beat Khan when the two meet in their bout in Los Angeles tomorrow.

“I think he picked the wrong opponent,” said Molina. “I’m going to shock the world, I have no doubt about that. I’m going to go in there and come out victorious. I’ll pound away at him and chop him down like a tree, just keep working and working until he falls. I’ll put pressure on him and let my hands fly. Once I get in there and start hitting him, I know he’s going to open up. I know Amir Khan loves to get in fights and that’s what we are going to look for, we are looking for an all-out war.”
