Homemade device: BDS personnel defuse 3kg bomb

It is speculated that Khan was targeted as he had ongoing family disputes.

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The bomb disposal squad successfully defused a homemade bomb planted in Zafar Shirani Town in the jurisdiction of the Gomal police station on Monday.  About three kilogrammes of explosives were used to make the bomb that had been planted outside the house of Zafar Khan, a TV mechanic. On receiving the information, DI Khan DPO Sohail Khalid sent BDS personnel to the area in time before the bomb exploded. It was speculated that Khan was targeted as he had ongoing family disputes, and that his adversaries may have planted the bomb, he said.
