The major arteries of Karachi once again faced traffic jams due to long car queues at CNG stations.
On the other hand, protesting CNG prices, more than 30% stations are closed in Sindh.
Meanwhile in Lahore, after a three-day blockage, obstinate CNG station owners have kept their stations closed due to their refusal to supply CNG at the given price.
The few open CNG stations are, like Karachi, entertaining long queues.
Faisalabad, Chiniot, Jhang and Toba Tek Singh are seeing resumption of CNG after a week-long closure.
In Quetta, the unannounced strike by CNG station owners has stations in major areas of the city closed down.
Around 70% CNG stations in Peshawar too are closed, leaving the people in distress.

@Usman Ilyas: Every Vehicle owner today is a thief as he is trying to loot the cng station owner. Cant u all get it through ure thick skulls that the CNG manufacturing cost is not being allowed to the CNG owners or should i say manufacturers. Why should they sell CNG. The more they sell the more they become bank rupt and not get revenue. If they loose their tempers which they are almost going to be any time soon, GOD help every one.
Make me advisor petroleum, I will solve every thing i promise.
The government should enable a provision in the contracts and licenses granted to the CNG stations that if they were to remain closed for longer then a certain small period of time they can have their permits automatically cancelled -- Problem Solved!
I hope the CNG stations continue to remain closed. Pakistanis who gave into their greed and converted to CNG deserved to be punished. These same Pakistanis now want to illegally takeover the private property of CNG station owners.
The CNG station owners are operating like a cartel. This is disturbing the country and causing direct damage to Pakistan's already ailing economy. To yield to these thugs would be giving into exploitation. Arrest these extortionists. SC please take note!
This is open "Gunda Gardi".... I mean the station owners are deliberately keeping their stations closed and nobody from the government is taking any sorts of action
Also, why don't these owners realize the probability of petrol users switching to gas because of reduced CNG prices? This could even result in more revenue....
CJ should take action against CNG owners.... cancel their license. Govt should Nationalize all CNG Stations....
CJ should take action against CNG pump owners... cancel their license and Govt should Nationalize all of CNG Stations..
