Speaking at the launch of a cleanliness drive at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, he said during his visit to Cuba, he discussed the issue with the Cuban government and Pakistani medical students studying there.
He said expansion of PIMS’s emergency ward would also be undertaken soon.
The chairman said a medical college has been established in NICH with around 200 beds.
Thanking the CDA and various schools for participating in the cleanliness drive, he urged the people to realise their responsibility and help the hospital management keep the hospital clean.
Capital Administration and Development Minister Nazar Muhammad Gondal said that cardiac, burn and liver transplant centres will be inaugurated soon.
