While addressing the National Assembly session, he said the government did not hold consultations before setting up the National Disaster Management Commission (NDMC).
Nisar alleged that not a single penny was given to the Punjab government and that the government has not given its share of Rs20,000 to each flood affected family.
The prime minister responds
In response to this, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said aid has been proportionally distributed among the provinces.
He added that the government is making a national strategy for the distribution of funds.
The prime minister also announced that a meeting of the Council of Common Interests will be held on Monday to discuss the impact of the floods. Gilani also said that he would soon convene an all parties conference to discuss post-floods situation.
