Ali Zafar becomes 3rd most Googled singer in India
In a power list printed by Variety Magazine, a Google Zeitgeist rankings is quoted. Ali followed the lead of Jagjit Singh and Bhimsen Joshi.
It was recently disclosed that the renowned Pakistani singer is now working on his fourth music album which will be released during the coming year along with another Bollywood movie Chashme Baddoor, set to be released on February 22, 2013.
On being asked what fans should expect from this compilation, Ali Zafar replied, “Right now I am just in the process of unlearning and breaking away from the norm, I am rediscovering, experimenting.”
After giving two hit pop albums Huqa Pani and Masty, Ali experimented with Sufi music in his 3rd album Jhoom, which was released by YRF music and topped the charts in both Pakistan and India for several weeks.
Jhoom also won the Best Album Award at Pakistani fashion and entertainment industry's oscars, the Lux Style Awards, this year.

Talented people, liberal, artists should always be welcome in India. In fact he should be encouraged to adopt India. A good gene is a good gene and he spends most of his time in India anyway.

Ohhh Please My fellow indians lets not taunt each other on this news. India loves ali Zafar and this is no new fact. This man can actually one day replace ShahRukh Khan,i really have a feeling. Moreover he is multitalented simply awesome. Indian Entertainment industry which makes India a cultural superpower inflencing 4 billion people in the world is lucky and enhanced to have him. Although i feel he is very insecure about being a pakistani he mentions pakistan in every 2 minutes as he talks as if he is reminding himself of being a pakistani. he is scared of pakistani media branding him a traitor as they have done to veena malik. Otherwise in Mumbai no one really cares who you are if you are talented.
He seems to me a nice guy. I wish he works and stays permanently in India. All nice Pakistanis are welcome. Its as much their country as it is for Indians.

Because he's an actor + singer. Most people search his name for his photos rather than his songs.

You google for things you don't know about, not for things you know about!!
So, well known musicians like Lata Mangeshkar, Kishore Kumar, Sonu Nigam or Shreya Ghoshal don't need to be googled as much as other musicians who they barely know about.
...and how is that an achievement?
