Official meeting: British Council library to be expanded

Governor House issues press release stating addition of teacher training, learning skills, and educational programmes.

KARACHI: The British Council library in Karachi will be expanded and programmes for teacher training, learning skills and educational development will also be arranged.

This was stated in a press release of Governor House issued on Friday. Governor Ishratul Ebad, who is currently on a visit to the UK, met the chair of the British Council, Sir Vernon Ellis, and discussed the revival and expansion of the library.

Ebad invited Ellis to visit Karachi in 2013, which he accepted.
