Culprits unidentified: Three schools targeted in K-P, FATA

Three other bombs planted in the school were defused by the Bomb disposal Squad.

MARDAN: Three schools were attacked by unidentified assailants in three separate incidents in Mardan, Swabi and Mohmand Agency on Sunday. A Katlang police official said that a girls high school in Kati Garhi was razed when two powerful bombs exploded, also injuring a person. In another incident, a government primary school for boys was destroyed in the Sara Chena area on the outskirts of Yar Hussain Town. The SHO said that it was likely to be local criminals rather than militants. In the third incident, the building of a private high school in Mian Mandi Bazaar, Ghallanai, was destroyed late Sunday night. Three other bombs planted in the school were defused by the Bomb disposal Squad (BDS), said political administration official Shamsul Islam.
