ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has admitted business tycoon Malik Riaz’s review petition against the formation of the Suddle commission in the alleged financial impropriety between Arsalan Iftikhar and Riaz and his son-in-law Salman Ahmed, for regular hearing, Express News reported Monday.

The Supreme Court had taken a decision of appointing federal tax ombudsman Dr Shoaib Suddle as a one-man inquiry commission.

Riaz’s review petition, filed through his counsel Zahid Bukhari, was earlier returned by the Supreme Court’s Registrar Office with objections.

Today, Justice Jawad S Khwaja and Justice Khilji Arif Hussain admitted the plea despite the objections raised.

A judicial bench of the Supreme Court will hear the petition.

MALICK | 11 years ago | Reply @Sultan Khan:---This man RM in collaboration with DHA Islamabad has robbed expatriates of millions of dollars of their hard earned money in DHA Valley project. Had he been in USA he would have spent rest of his life in prison with no chances of parole and all his property, bank accounts would have been frozen and the poor whom he has robbed compensated. He robs the poor, the widows and pensioners and obliges the civil servants, police, FIA, lawyers, yellow journalists and politicians.
