Bombing attempt thwarted in Peshawar, 1 suspect killed

BDS called in to inspect handcart which contained explosives.

PESHAWAR: A bombing attempt was thwarted when police killed one of two suspected bombers in the Barra Shaikhan area of Peshawar, Express News reported on Thursday.

The suspects, pushing a handcart, opened fire when police tried to stop them. A bomb blast followed the crossfire which killed one of the suspects.

The bomb disposal squad (BDS) was called in to inspect the handcart which contained explosives.

Police cordoned off the area and began a search operation for the second suspect.

Earlier, two people were killed in a suicide car bomb attack on an American diplomatic car in Peshawar

The attacker rammed his explosives-laden car into US consulate vehicle.

It appears that terrorists are playing their last inning . Drones are digging their graves well .
