Orakzai agency: Four people kidnapped by militants

KALAYA: Four people were kidnapped by militants in Stori Khel, Lower Orakzai. Political administration official (PAO) Syed Nauman Ali Shah said that around 10am four tribesmen of Akka Khel, a sub-clan of the Afridi tribe, were kidnapped at gunpoint. The men were identified as Iran Gul, Zahidullah, Sher Awan and Awal Mir Gul, who had come to the agency on business. Shah said that after the incident security forces reached the area and began a search operation. “More than a dozen suspects were apprehended and handed to PAOs,” he added, saying that further investigations will be conducted.
