The Sindh cabinet meeting will be held in Tando Muhammad Khan on Saturday, September 1.
The chief minister of Sindh, Qaim Ali Shah, will chair the meeting.
Shah will also inaugurate the new building of a district hospital and meet party workers.
The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) district meeting presided by Haji Amin Lakho discussed the arrangements for the cabinet meeting.
The district leadership also passed a resolution, appealing to the party’s chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari to contest the next election from NA-222.
While addressing the meeting, Lakho said that the district will get more development funds if the party’s chairperson contested election from the constituency.
Aijaz Nabi Shah, the district vice president and cousin of federal minister, Naveed Qamar, walked out after the resolution.
He told the press that Qamar had defeated his rivals five times from the same seat, but the district body was deliberately trying to impose its decisions over the others.
