Curbing trafficking: Upgraded system installed by FIA

PESHAWAR: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has replaced its Personal Identification Secure Comparison Evaluation System (PISCES) at the Pak-Afghan border with a more modern Integrated Border Management System (IBMS) developed by NADRA. The move is aimed at curbing human trafficking, illegal enter and use of fake travel documents as IBMS is a highly capable indigenously developed system. Talking to The Express Tribune, FIA official Ashgar Khan said that the system has been installed successfully and it had proved successful in the operation in the subsequent months.
