KARACHI: The Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, an umbrella body of different Ahle Tasheeh organisations, announced that it will organise rallies and demonstrations after Jumma prayers to protest persistent attacks on the Shia community across the country.

MWM’s central secretary general Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jaffri said on Thursday that the government had failed to provide security to the community, whose members have been targeted in Quetta, Babusar and Karachi.

The central demonstration will be organised at the Noor-ul-Eman mosque located in Nazimabad.
