Akbar | 14 years ago | Reply Return of Afridi is a good omen for our cricket in the shorter version of the game. Salman will have time to gather his mental faculties. I am always of the opinion that Pak should have separate teams for the shorter & longer formats of the game. Very few batsmen can be able to adopt & play in all the formats. You have to play specialists at every position. Half batsman & half bowlers will lead us to nowhere. Mohsin is talking of Yousaf to beneficial in ODI,s. Don,t waste him. Keep Yousaf & YK for tests only. ODI,s / 20/20 formats suits younger, aggressive & physically fit players. If yousaf is injured in an ODI, we lose him for tests also. Just think over it. There is no dearth of players fitting in the shorter format of the game.
