SUJAWAL JUNEJO:

The police have reportedly detained four unemployed men for sending Pakistan Peoples Party MNA Faryal Talpur, the president’s sister, text messages, asking her for jobs.

A group of policemen, led by Qambar-Shahdadkot SSP Azfar Mahesar and ASP Aslam Langah from Larkana, reportedly conducted a raid last Thursday in Sujawal Junejo and detained three men, Aamer Detho, Sadique Detho and Manzoor Magsi, for texting the MNA.

Another man, Ghaus Bux, alias Sono Tanwari, was arrested on Sunday for the same reason.

Though the relatives of the men said that law enforcers have detained them at an undisclosed location, the police denied these claims.

The men sent text messages out of desperation since they could not meet Talpur, said the relatives. They requested the authorities to let the men go and said that they would not send any more messages to the MNA.
