US Muslim group decries shots on Chicago mosque
The shots were heard by worshippers who were outside the mosque and were powerful enough to damage the building's brick wall, it added.
The shots were allegedly fired by a neighbour with a history of opposition to the mosque, said the Chicago chapter of CAIR, the United States' largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy group.
Morton Grove police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the US attorney's office are investigating the incident.
"This is obviously an alarming situation that all parties are taking very seriously," CAIR-Chicago Executive Director Ahmed Rehab said in a statement.
"The weapon allegedly used in this incident is powerful enough to kill, and the projectiles reportedly came within inches of the head of the security guard on duty.

Even thou there has been some incidents of Anti Islam in USA but relatively its still the best place to practise Islam in the whole world. Muslim Americans are satisfied with their concerned authorities protecting their Masajids and keeping an eye on anti muslim characters.

CAIR is a Hamas linked organisation. They never complain on Muslim on Muslim or Muslim on non-Muslim violence.
Stupid americans! If it were our 'protector of faithful' who had fired shots at ahmadi or shia mosques, they would have killed at least a few people, unlike the amreekan who missed everybody.
Should Pakistanis condemn or cheer. Depends on if this is a Sunni Mosque or Shia / Ahmedi Mosque.

Religious intolerance is slowly but surely spreading to the non-Muslim countries. If its a reaction to the Muslims have towards non-Muslims, then time has come to take stock of past actions. Small fires like this will surely consume the entire society sooner or later.
