SWAT: Two persons were killed and another was injured in separate incidents in Swat on Monday. In the first incident, a man was found dead in his house in Mingora. The deceased was identified as Said Akbar, a local car dealer from Miranshah. Police shifted Akbar’s body to Saidu Sharif Hospital, where doctors maintained that he died of excessive bleeding after someone slit his throat. In the second incident, a man shot his wife dead and injured his brother during a family dispute in Ghalagey, Barikot tehsil. Police said that Akhtar Ali, son of Amir Ghulam, had a brawl with his brother and fired gunshots at him. His brothers as well as his wife, who came in to pacify the situation, were shot injured. They were taken to Saidu Sharif Hospital where his wife was pronounced dead and his brother was hospitalised in critical condition. The police booked the accused and put him behind bars.
