Extraordinary Achievement: Woman gets PhD in advanced astronomy

Maryam Sultana became the first Pakistani woman to obtain a PhD in extragalactic astronomy.

KARACHI: Maryam Sultana, a lecturer of mathematics at the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology, became the first Pakistani woman to obtain a PhD in extragalactic astronomy. She did her research under the supervision of Prof. Shahid Qureshi at the Institute of Space and Planetary Astrophysics Sciences, University of Karachi. Her thesis included a mathematical formula and model on the formation of galaxies.

Now this is called NEWS !!!! great work by a Pakistani woman ... I hope she continue her hard work and make us proud again and again !!!
