Acid attack: Woman suffers burns

FAISALABAD: A woman was attacked with acid at her home in Saddar area on Sunday. She was taken to Allied Hospital where doctors treating her described her condition as out of danger. They said she had suffered burns on her back.  Dr Abdul Hafeez, in charge of the burn unit, said she would be kept under observation for a few days. Saddar station house officer Ghulam Fareed said she was attacked with acid by one of her husband’s relative. He said the police had yet to question her husband, who called them to inform about the attack on his wife.
