Squash: Junaid ousts Adnan in thriller

PESHAWAR: The summer talent hunt squash tournament entered the final stage at the Hasham Khan Squash Complex yesterday.  In the U9 category, Noor Zaman and Hamad defeated Muhammad Imad and Afaq Khan respectively. In the U11 event, Uzair Shareef outclassed Saim while Hamza Shareef secured his place in the final by defeating Asad Ullah. Zeeshan Gul and Abbas Zab also progressed, defeating Zeeshan Zab and Hamad Khan in their respective matches. Meanwhile, a thrilling semi-final was played between Junaid Khan and Adnan Khan with the former clinching it 3-2. In the second semi final, Ashar Khan beat Iman Ullah 3-1. The final matches of all categories will be played today.
