2 prisoners killed, 1 injured in firing at Lahore Sessions Court

One prisoner killed as another opens fire inside temporary lock up.

LAHORE: Two prisoners were killed and another was injured in a firing incident and standoff with the police at the Sessions Court in Lahore on Saturday, Express News reported.

According to Express News, a prisoner identified as Azam had shot Shafqat inside the temporary lockup of the Sessions Court. A standoff between Azam and the police lasted for an hour before he was also shot inside the temporary lockup.

Another prisoner was injured as a result of the firing.

A police official said that Azam had arrived today from a jail in Sahiwal for a hearing and Shafqat had come from Township. Both men had earlier served their sentences together and had gotten into a fight, he said.

How these criminals allowed to enter the courts with arms. What is the security to the Judges and Lawyers? Moreover our Lahore lawyers are more important specimens.

Punjab Govt is failed to maintain law in order in lahore even Courts and jails are not safe in lahore. my question is who is provided Guns in jails every body know about police mafia .
