Attock Tehsil Budget: Rs90m allocated for development

A total of Rs90 million have been allocated for development projects in Attock during 2012-13, Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) Attock said on Friday.


Moreover Rs118.913 million have been allocated for non-development expenditure.

A statement released after the budget session said that Rs20 million will be spent through the Citizen Community Boards, while Rs70 million have been allocated for the construction of the second block of Christian Colony, installation of tube wells and other development schemes. Of the non-development expenditure, Rs45.902 million have been allocated for staff salaries, Rs5.639 for maintenance of streetlights, Rs5.97 million for water supply branch, Rs11.454 for gardening and roads branch and Rs49.94 million have been allocated to the sanitation branch.

The main sources of income for TMA Attock during 2012-13 will be the cattle markets in Gondal and Attock. The TMA will also get revenue from property tax and collecting fees at the general bus stand in Attock.
