Car chase: Motorway police rescue kidnapped boys

HYDERABAD: The Motorway Police rescued three kidnapped boys from the Indus Highway on Sunday. Fida Hussain, 14, Zahid Ali Rana, 14 and Mehar Elahi, 15, who were abducted on Saturday night, were rescued after the police chased a speeding black Toyota Corolla near Sakrand taluka, Shaheed Benazirabad. Ayaz Mallah, Khalid Jamali and Waseem Bhand were arrested by patrolling officers Mukhtiar Raza and Abdul Qadir Lakho near Sakrand taluka, Shaheed Benazirabad. The boys, who hailed from Latifabad, told Sakrand police that they were abducted by the men as they had gone to buy petrol for their generator. Police officials said that FIRs would be registered against the suspects.
