YouTube video of the day: A dose of Isloo
So if you have been to Islamabad and think that you’ve seen it all, then think again. A time-lapse video released by Islamabad-based LolzStudios has captured the most beautiful sights of the capital.
The video has a total of 15,000 shots, showing different moods of the city - the sun rising over Faisal Mosque, people coming and going at Jinnah Super, people posing at Monal.
Many commenters on YouTube were moved by how the power outage in one of the sectors was captured and considered it quite relevant.
In one scene, a plane is seen flying above flickering lights of the cars driving on the roads stretched out across the city.
The video covers most of Islamabad and can also qualify for a promotional video for city tourism.
Video rating: Two thumbs up for bringing out the best of Islamabad.

Some parts of this video were in rawalpindi. Just not in the normal people side but on the arm side.
always, always pessimism. Islamabad has its fair share of slums, have you ever BEEN to the french colony? if you have a problem with islamabad being supposedly cleaner due to deprivation, feel free to move here. otherwise shut up and let the rest of us enjoy at least one positive thing once in a while
@Ali Mehdi: First of all i think you should be ashamed for calling people of Gujranwala and Quetta as dirty people. Also the small list of cities does not include my city as it is so deprived to be in any list as i belong from small city near toba tek singh. Also one thing more that Gujranwala is dirty because so called Khadam e aala have spent everything on Lahore and now for Gujranwala municipality nothing exists but dont call the people as dirty. I have met the people of Gujranwala and they more cleaner from heart more than the dwellers of so called clean cities. You can argue but the elite and politicians dwellings are always cleaner in Pakistan and it is not related to.manners but to.unequal distribution of development wealth spending in Pakistan.
@sameer Malik...which deprivation Lahore: This city should be called South Asian Capital, very beautiful city,,,simply wow Karachi: Financial hub, just like every financial hub there are rich and poor areas. Peshawar: If you have ever been to Peshawar than you will realise this city is entirely different than its been projected in TV Faisalabad: Very nice city, entering from Motorway till D ground its a lovely place. Abbotabad: What a beautiful city, beautiful landscapes. Sialkot: Nice built city especially the new areas Gujranwala: The city is dirty because people are batameez, no sense of cleanliness :) Muzaffarabad: I love this city, landscapes, lush green areas, lovely people, beautiful buildings. Quetta: Very cultural, but dirty because of people they throw everything on roads like Gujranwala people
For people of Islamabad and for rich elite of Pakistan these scenes would be pretty soothing but for the rest of the Pakistani population after watching this vid they will have more sense of deprivation than ever before. Islamabad dont have any industry but rich elite and Politicians live there and they spend our hard earned tax money on few individuals while in my city still animals and human drink from the same pond and we dont have schools either. Some people will say that i will be envying after watching this but in reality right now i have the same feeling of that person who is looted and your valuables will be taken away.
