HuT spokesman abducted
According to contents of an SMS sent out by the HuT, and subsequently confirmed by Shahzad Shaikh, deputy to the spokesman HuT in Pakistan that Butt had been abducted in Lahore as he returned home with his children from school.
They said that HuT would to continue its struggle.
Officials of police and intelligence agencies had not confirmed the detention of till the filling of this report.

Abducting Naveed Butt will NOT dampen the work for Khilafah or prevent its establishment. We are all Naveed's and it's establishment is a promise to the Believers.

The agencies should busy themselves ridding the country of Raymond Davis's brothers in BlackWater and the CIA who roam around the country creating havoc. @Babur Chughtai: It is the treacherous rulers of Pakistan that are regularly meet with their masters in the West and climb back to their Western holes. Zardari, Gilani, Musharaf .... All feel more comfortable in the West and this is where they send the wealth of Pakistan out to so they can retire on their ill gotten wealth while country suffers.
This is exactly what Naveed Butt and Hizb challenged. Such rulerss and more importantly the system that created them and permitted them to carry out such crimes. Couple this with the fact that Naveed and Hizb also bring a comprehensive workable solution too, that of Khilafah. Now we know why the West wants to stop them and their work.

Hizb ut Tahrir, is well known to be non violent, the only violence they are experiencing is from the state. It is such a shame that politicians are impotent to face intellectual discourse rather resort to such abhorent tactics. Pakistan needs to be liberated from the slavery to the western nations, It needs to be liberated from those clowns who are not real politicians at all.
The challenge to them is let them try to debate ideas with ideas if they are capable. You will find the manifesto proposed by HUT will totally liberate Pakistan from the slavery that the muslims are bonded in, that the politicians has entrenched them into.
Hizb ut tahrir will continue in its quest to revive the ummah. If they think by taking one Naveed they have twart the resolve of HUT. They have to wake up and see what the populace is asking for. The ummah will only produce hundreds if not thousands of Naveeds. One can kidnap a person, but one cannot kidnap ideas. The ideas promoted bu HUT is entirely islamic and in inline with the Pakistani populace.

Allahu Akbar! What kind of society allows its intelligence agencies to pick up its citizens like sheep? Is this the reality of a country that was founded on 'La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad RasulAllah', that it abducts people whose only crime is to call for nizaam e Mustafa? This (and similar incidents) is a disgrace to any country who claims to have any relationship to Islam!
We can expect this kind of behavior from the mushrik Hindus, but not from Muslims who kidnap their own brothers and want to silence them like this.
The prophet (saw) said: "الْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ لَا يَظْلِمُهُ وَلَا يَخْذُلُهُ وَلَا يَحْقِرُهُ التَّقْوَى هَاهُنَا" ...A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim. He neither oppresses him nor humiliates him nor looks down upon him. The piety is here, (and while saying so) he pointed towards his chest thrice.[ Sahih Muslim Book 31, Number 6219.]
This kind of oppression must end and Pakistan must return to the reason it was made: La ilaha illa Allah Muhammad RasulAllah
Pakistani political and military leadership has learnt no lesson over the years that abducting the sincere youth of this Ummah will not hinder the growth of the call for an Islamic state.
