President Zardari signs two bills into law

Delimitation of Constituencies Bill 2012 & Pakistan Trade Control of Wild Fauna and Flora Bill 2012 signed.

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari, on the advice of the Prime Minister, has assented to the Delimitation of Constituencies  (Amendment) Bill, 2012 and the Pakistan Trade Control of Wild Fauna and Flora Bill, 2012.     

The Delimitation of Constituencies (Amendment) Bill, 2012 seeks to bring provisions of the Delimitation of Constituencies Act, 1974, in conformity with Articles 51, 106 and 218 of the Constitution as amended by the Constitution (Eighteenth Amendment)Act, 2010.

The Bill was passed by the Senate on the November 3, 2011 and transmitted to the National Assembly. The National Assembly passed it on the January 4, 2012 with an amendment and returned to the Senate.

The Senate passed it again on the March 8, 2012 with the amendment. The Bill has also been passed by the Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) under clause (3) of the Article 70 of the Constitution in a joint sitting held on March 30, 2012.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Trade Control of Wild Fauna and Flora Bill, 2012 seeks to give effect to the United Convention on International Trade in endangered species of wild fauna and flora.

This Bill was passed by the National Assembly on the December 29, 2010. The Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament), in its joint sitting held on April 5, 2012, passed the Bill under clause (3) of the Article 70 of the Constitution.

@Ali Tanoli: You said it. It is a tribe, nothing more or less.

Ali Tanoli | 11 years ago | Reply the picture shows leader of some tribe signing some paper and the constitution of pakistan is like whole dictionary book English law, sharia law, Dictators laws, this law that law and then no law.
