The hashtag #Burnol4PMLN trended locally, where web-savvy PTI fans criticised the Nawaz-league for family politics, failed protests and an 'unsuccessful' laptop scheme.
A counter trend - #Pity4PTI - was also created, but failed to acquire momentum.

@Hasan Awan: before being in trend of bashing PTI supporters always, please do take in notice the panga starter and their slangs.... every action has a reaction. i am not advocating this trend but please clear your own mess before critisizing...... grow up please.
@Falcon: your 'research' about PML-N and its leaders is commendable! one thing you missed out is that sharifs had a business since British India days.
Sad to note this is a news item! ET you need to #Change, before you are demanded to.
Stores are dried with Burnol, PTI guys used tons of Burnol since taxila rally #PityForPTI
HAHAHAH good job PTI damn i wasnt on twitter :/ missed it..next time ;)
PTI and PML-N.. Are both these parties people representative? This is, for sure, the most childish politics in history! Please look forward to solve problems of the country rather cat fighting like nursery kids.! GROW UP!!!
there could be youngsters making PTI popular. however, there are questions PTI or his chairman tsunami khan has never given. 1) giving hope to the people especially the young, on what basis? 2) what do you mean by bringing change? is it a slogan like Obama or real? if real what is it? BTW Obama's change is nowhere seen in today's US 3) first you announced to eradicate corruption in three months after coming to power then said to bring corruption to half in first nine days, how will you do both? 4) you are targeting PML-N only why? is it because you think Punjab vote is the king maker or else? 5) you never criticize people responsible for many ills of this nation e.g the dictators, why? 6) you always claim you pay more taxes than sharifs but never show any proof, why? 7) is it true you've built your hospital in Lahore on a land donated by sharif govt ruling Punjab at the time? 8) is it true you forced members of the world cup team to donate whatever earned from the tournament in 1992? 9) is it true you have no real road map for the country? 9) if you have one why don't you show it to the nation? 10) how are you going to deal with USA and your neighboring countries to have a win win situation for all? how will you stop drone attacks? there are many but just let the great khan answer these, seriously please
Dear Tribune Web Desk The hash tag was #PityForPTI and not #Pity4PTI and it was trending way before PTI guys came up with a mimicked response.
Its requested to all PTI Troll if you have any allegation against Sharig brother and got its proof then dont waste your time in surfing go to court.Simply false allegation will not cause of winning election but may cause winning in surfing.
Burnol4Pmlnl still trending... lol
@ch Allah Daad remember this day...but the thing is u are a PML N supporter if PTI wins more than 10 seats you will change just like ur leader but still i will print screen it and save it on my laptop just to remind u when the day comes...remember me...the name is ihtisham khan...only few months left..
tirbune included my tweet "shazy
i wonder why paid people belong to some party always screaming here why not let impartial people say anything ?" But in wrong section , Every one knows what does i means by paid worker party :-)
Elections are not won through Twitter or Internet. Its a tough task which is only accomplished in field. I will accept any punishment including supporting Imran, if PTI wins more than ten seats. The only condition is that all other parties including PPP and PML(N) are not banned.
@Hasan Awan: LOL do you really believe that PTI followers represent the whole party ? I mean, are all PML-N "followers" saints ? You should take a look at the leadership to judge, not the (literally) millions of followers and, believe me, for everyone quitting PTI, there are ten others who actually join it - I see it in my own family, my father's case (where being pro PML-N is nearly a religion) is the most eloquent, and ask your social surrounding they'll give you the same feedback.
Concerning Awais Leghari, Mian Mehmood-ur-Rashid recently said (Kashif Abbasi's show, 30th April I think) that he was ready to resign if the party asks to, and don't know how it is comparable to the mass resignation of PML-N walays as the main point is to trigger early general elections ; Awais Leghari's case is therefore irrelevant in that perspective. Peoples like Javed Hashmi or Shah Mehmood Qureshi abandoned their party at their respective peak, perhaps that's something you don't see.
@Majid: hahahaha you didn't check out the trending on twitter perhaps!
Clearly biased towards PTI and wrong statistics! Looks like author is following PTI fans mostly!
shazy s tweet was not from #PityForPti he belongs to burnol group technical fault in the article plz improve ur understanding
They have included my tweets!
@ Hasan Awan... sorry bro, your logic re PMLNs not resigning is completely falwed (and as a matter of fact is really absurd). You are assuming that PMLN's presence is the HoC that is saving this country. Bro, there are 180 millions live on this land, there is judiciary which has and will anull and void all unconstitutional amendments, and then there is ARMY. So no, resignining from assemblies will not change the shape of this land, instead it will put more pressure on PPP to hold early elections. But again...losing power, protocols, chief ministership,....and bottom line, PMLN will continue to 'protect democracy'!
So next time, pls bring a better logic that you can sell of this forum.
Chao!
@Falcon Its not about numbers, its about moral values and your PTI stance.....shame!
@Hasan Awan: First of all, even basic math suggests that Awais Leghari is just ONE person and his stance (which I agree is misplaced) can not be equated with much larger numbers of PMLN representatives. Secondly, for you having joined PTI first and having left afterwards based on your disagreement with IK's style of politics. From what I have observed PTI has the most diverse spectrum of opinion in its ideological ranks. Everybody might not agree with IK on everything and that is what democracy is. But at the least there is agreement on major challenges the nation is facing and their resolutions. Lastly, if you are so disappointed from PTI that you ended up supporting PMLN, then please do some additional research on how the leaders of PMLN have either absconded or squandered limited funds from national ex-chequer. Between their asset holding patterns across the globe, money laundering legitimization schemes, extra-ordinary business growth rates, tax evasion, and fear based politics, you will find a lot of interesting info. If I had supported PTI for lack of a clear reason and left it for even more trivial reasons, then I lack in either clarity of objectives or understanding of pitfalls of alternatives or enough persistence to push through to the end.
And this is an achievment of PTI? what nonsense and wastage of time
@Shoaib: Because PML-N trolls were doing mischief for the last many days trying to trend PityForPTI. We ignored them earlier but today we decided to put a halt to their mischief. So in response we started the Burnol4PMLN trend today & it went to its peak. It is still trending but PML-N trolls are nowhere to be seen. May be media cell closed after office hours :P
PTI trolls win 1-0
@Pungi: You know In my childhood the first politicians i met was Benazir Bhutto. I am raised in that region where every second word was talked about was Politics. It will be the biggest mistake of PMLN to resign. Because as soon as they resign PPP will get their members and will get 2/3 Majority and will pass every resolution possible in Assemblies and that will be the death bed for Pakistan in general. Your discussion soes not make sense to me. I joined PTI when there was no one in PTI and I left it when now PTI is flying high. Many of my friends left PTI in recent days and there is a reason for it. Imran Khan's Politics is based on some Personal hatred against one Personality and that is not good at all.
@Hasan Awan BTW Mind telling us about Taxila & Lahore rallies? MUkmuka Again?
Pretty strange that the only party on the hitlist of PTI is PMLN. What about PPP, PMLQ, MQM, ANP and others ! Why no trends for them set by PTI?
@HasanAwan Watch IK interview to Munizae Jahangir & u will get the answer... One seat cannot create flaw unlike PMLN which can create a big flaw in Punjab & NA by resigning...Use some mind dude..!
pml n trolls are either benefeciaries or paid
@Falcon: My Falcon Brother do you know that Awais Leghari is a PTI member and he is in national Assembly as well on NA-172 PMLQ seat and never Resigned. Why PTI demans resignation of PMLN from the assemblies while their Own Leader is sitting in the Corrupt Parliament?. Please end this Hypocricy. Every Party have many Problems. PTI cannot take the resignation from Awais Leghari who got the same Fake votes and on the ticket of PMLQ and now PMLN should resign but Awais Leghari have the right to sit in the parliament. My Friend all parties are same because it is Politics of Pakistan so dont target one party only.
Inviting PTI to support them in their rallies... #Burnol4PMLN
Funny tweets...it seems like PMLN needs tons of Burnol ;)
You know what the so called trends like #Burnol4PMLN and others launched by PTI are counter productive. The name calling and giving names in a derogatory manner is another trend now lead by PTI. In Politics there are many issues that could be discussed. But thanks to PTI that now you have to make fun of names, families and then have to defend yourself and that is not a healthy trend. Please do poltics of respect and dont call Nawaz as Noora or a famous word Ganja foe Nawaz being bald used by PTI followers. The point is that many old people are Bald as well and perhaps your father could be the one. Please dont bring such Unethical Language in Politics.
